New To Scouting

First steps in getting started:

REGISTRATION
  1. Download and print out an Adult Application and Disclosure/Authorization Form 
    • Click BSA_Adult_Application.pdf
    • Print out and fill in all the information on the form.  Please remember to give your Social Security Number and also answer the questions on the far right column of the form.  Also don't forget to sign in the lower left corner of the form.
    • Unit number is 1206 (Pack, Troop, Team, Crew)
    • Council: Utah National Parks
    • District: Alpine
    • Make sure you also fill out and sign the Disclosure/Authorization Form
  2. It is required to take a Youth Protection training from the Boy Scouts of America (BSA)
    • Click New to MyScouting to get started.
    • Follow the directions to create an account.
    • You will need to print out a completed certificate of completion of the course at the end of online training.
  3. Turn into Aaron Weaver - Unit 1206 Committee Membership Chairman the following information:
    • BSA Adult Application all filled out
    • Disclosure/Authorization Form name printed and signed
    • Youth Protection Trained Certificate
